Any veterans going to Applebee's on Friday? I have never taken them up on the free meal for veterans, so I thought I might go this year. Only to find out it is supposed to rain here on Friday. So, I may not go after all.

Good morning SoCal, happy Hump Day. Thankfully, the first snow of the season stayed to the south in Missouri. Good place for it!!

I "dropped by" a couple of years ago. The place was so crowded that I just left. I believe they told me the wait would be over an hour.

We frequently go there on Friday evenings, and it's crowded, but not like THAT!

YMMV, of course.

Goodmorning guys

Yeah...it's hump day! I'm sooo ready for Friday to get here!

Although I'm generally feeling better, apparently I'm having a reaction to the Avelox. The last 2 days I've had a mild rash (can barely see it with my tan), itching & tingling, headache & swelling in my face & hands. I just figured that the meds were working & knocking this s**t out of me & the swelling was from lack of sleep. I'm thinking that it's too strong of meds for me. So, now I get to call me Dr. & see what he wants to do, cause I can't afford a dr. visit, muchless to even waste the gas to get to town. In the meantime, I'm drinking water like it's going out of style to flush out my system - that's all I can think to do. All in all I feel fine...but this stupid prickley/tingling feeling is driving me nuts! Kinda feels like when your hand falls asleep, except it's all over my body.

Donna,

See this:
Moxifloxacin - PubMed Health

You seem to be having weird symptoms for this drug. Are you feeling any of the ones listed?

Now, why do you suppose that never caught on?

As for Applebees, I have herd that it is very crowded on Veteran's day, and that is the main reason I have not gone in the past, but I figure a free meal is a free meal. Still, it is not worth the hassle of getting wet AND having to wait an hour to get a seat.

I'll bet it cost an arm and a leg.

I'd like to see the mechanics behind that set up...probably pretty Rube Goldberg by today's standards.

I like how they put a matching hub cap on it. Classy!

Now, do you suppose that tire doubles as the spare?
