I keep reporting it to the do not call people hoping they'll track them down if they get enough complaints. If it wasn't a recording I'd have some fun with them.
you cant have fun with them, they just hang up on you as soon as you try to yell at them, ask how to get off the list, or they figure out you arent really interested in their product (which is a scam to get your info).

My normal mode of operation is:
Phone rings, I pick up the phone and look at the digital display on the handset. If I don't recognize the number, of identification, I push the on button, then push the off button and lay the handset back down.
It's as simple as that. If you really want to get a hold of me, call my cell or email me, I get that on my cell also.
there was a time when i could get away with that, but now most of the unrecognized numbers that are calling me are legitimate calls i need to take. also, i can take the occasional telemarketer but this cardholder services scam has been calling like crazy.
ford actually built a very powerful concept v10 and put it in a mustang mule. there are videos all over of it. it looks like a pretty fast car out of the box.
I'm in the same boat as Aaron. Trying to start a business I gotta answer all calls... could be a new customer. Usually it's a useless call but every so often it's a new customer.
