Scanguage II on Amazon.

If anyone is still looking for a scanguage ii, Amazon has them on special for 149.95 with free 2 day shipping for Prime members. Says Im guaranteed Wednesday delivery. Have been needing to get one to diagnose some glitches on my 05' and this is the cheapest I have been able to find one. Thanks for everyone posting the x-guages for these devices.

I came across a "spreadsheet" of x-guages for the 6.0 on dieselstop.com (I think that was the site, I hit a link on google). I know to monitor the ECT and EOT for sure. I dont want to input alot of x-guages that I will more than likely never use. What are the most common or crucial ones besides those two that I need to have programmed in. I will be adding a fuel pressure, egt, and probably boost on a pillar gauge as money permits. Is the boost guage on the scanguage fairly accurate as opposed to the dial type guage? Thanks guys.

The list below was compiled by amdriven2liv and those are his notes. I highlighted in red the X Gauges I consider to be essential to monitor the health of my engine. I watch all of these at one time of another to make sure everything is ok. Others may have a differing opinion obviously.

Here is a partial list of Xgauges with Ford's values.

Much obliged. I cant wait for it to come in so I can toy around with it and check some things. I have been having a hard start issue lately. The truck died the other day as soon as we pulled in the drive and would not start back up, it would crank over just fine just never start. I havent tried it since but I want to be able to run some values on some things and see if I can pinpoint where the issue is. The truck was running fine, I thought my wife turned it off but she said it died on its own, there never was any hesitation going down the road so Im curious to see what I find out.

You'll defintely want to look at your IPR duty cycle % while cranking, also your ICP voltage (needs to be .8 volts or greater) and ICP pressure (needs to be > 500 PSI to start). Looks like you have an 05 model and the no start may be related to the HPO system. Another clue is if it starts great when it's cold and not so well when its hot. It's probably your STC fitting on the HPO pump leaking.

Sometime my IPR can be 21 or 22 when at hot Idle? Is that a problem?

Don't think that would be a problem. Seems mine runs around there also. Some of the readings from Ford don't quite match up. My ICP low idle is around 585 most of the time, and I have seen others say the same.

Could be oil type?
