2003 Sport Trac Dead OBD Readings

My Wife has a 2003 Sport Trac, I have tried 3 different OBD II readers and none of them will light up and work, yet they work on my other Fords of similar years. Can the OBD plug go dead, a fuse or any ideas?

There is a fuse for the OBD2 port. Does the vehicle start and run fine? The fuse for the OBD2 port is fuse F2.17, a 20A fuse in the Central Junction Box which also powers the horn and cigarette lighter. Have you been using the lighter socket for anything recently?

Pin 16 (light blue/white wire) of the OBD2 port should have power to it all the time. Pins 4 and 5 are ground wires (black and black/white respectively), I'm not sure if it's standard which one the scan tools use.

Asked my wife about the cigarette lighter and she says Oh Yeah that's not working either. Tracked it down to the fuse like you mentioned and yes it was blown. Changed the fuse and every thing is now working, no codes on the OBD II thankfully. Thanks for the help.

Awesome, glad you got that squared away and for cheap!

Also, thank you for following up with what you found the issue to be.
