Has anyone here replaced power mirrors recently?

This post is for 2003 or newer Super Duty owners. If you've recently replaced your mirrors...I'm looking for the electrical adapters that likely came with your new Ford mirrors so that they can be installed on an older 99-02 (maybe even '03) truck. The newer mirrors come with rectangular or square electrical connections...and the adapter plugs into it to change it to a round connector (or two round connectors if they had heat).

Anyone have those? I have some newer style mirrors that I need the adapters to fit my 2000 truck with. I don't want to cut wires, etc. (I know how to do that, just don't want to mess with that inside the door).

Any help is appreciated. Please PM me if you have some!

The rectangular plug started in 2001 or 2002.

Let us know how this turns out. I too want to swap mirrors and I'm sure this is a crazy popular subject.

Gigantic "THANKS" to owyheetraveler, who sent me a set of electrical adapters left over from his mirror replacement. That is HUGE. This is why FTE is "The Brotherhood."

Thanks for letting me know that you have received the wiring adapters. It’s good to know that something I didn’t need for my Ford will actually do some good for someone else. Good luck with your project!
