looking for an intake for my truck have read that s & b is pretty good. no one i know has one so im asking you guys. the price of the s & b is much nicer. what the differences? thanks for the help

 

I have the AFE and if/when I replace it it will be the S&B. The 6637 is a better bang for your buck. Something to consider.

 

have the 6637 on one of my trucks. want a nice clean set up and hoping this will get me some more power. are the power and flow equal or close to afe? thanks again

 

S&B is a nice intake, but it's not going to get you more power. It does a great job filtering out dirt. If you want more power there are other upgrades to look into.

 

They are all pretty much identical indesign and operation I'm not a big fan of the 6637 as it requires a lot of work to isolate it from the engine compartment howeve functionally it's the same! The AFE stage 2 is my favoriteasthe quality of materials is great and it takes out the factory battery tray and replaces it with a heavy gauge steel tray that has held up great in my own 3 trucks I've installed them in the s&b looks to be of very similar construction I can't speak for the quality oftheir product though!
