I bought a door lock solenoid the other day for $5.34 shipped. going to wire it to my tailgate. My key is hard to lock/unlock the tailgate...and I always have the fob in my pocket. Should be a good waste of time if nothing else

bringing it back from the dead. anything new to add?

I just ordered flood light (LED's) to install in my mirrors for when I unlock the truck at night. figure I'll paint the housing black and these will hide rather nicely until energized. http://www.ebay.com/itm/180946721972

Almost ordered a $22 fwd facing camera as well. Might do this if I can figure out how to switch between front and rear cameras easily.

Almost ordered 3 red marker lights for the grille (faux Rapter style), but wife nixed it with 1 snide "Don't you have enough lights already" comment

Not real cheap but craigslist found a front hitch mount for $75 and added harbor freight hitch mounted winch. total cost $400 and already used it to save an 07 Dodge stuck in the mountains. Awesome ugly Ford, pretty and useless Dodge. I looked real good that day.

Sidemarkers - $20 for 6 lights
Tailgate Markers - $13 shipped off eBay

there is more, but I'm drawing a blank for now. I limited myself to $50 and under as a definition of "cheap"
Where can you all the LEDs for $50? I have had my eye on LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS and I see mine being around a $100. But I want the brightest of everything

Was looking at the DDM site and definitely something I want to do. What is the part number I need? Direct plug-in or do I need a different harness, adapter or relay? Thanks!

DDM is a direct plug and play. I have the Hi/Lo's, love it. You need H13 bulbs, I would go with either 4500k or 5000k color. Hi/lo =$50 plus shipping, unless they have free shipping. Don't remember.
