Hood hinges and springs
My passenger side hood hinge is giving away and when the hood is closed that corner pops up. Question is, is it the spring the hinge or both. I replaced the drivers side hinge a few years back with an LMC product and reused the old spring. Seems to work fine but think I'll go with a DC hinge this time. Will they work together? Lastly, is the a repop spring available.

(sigh) If you had DC's 1957/66 truck repro parts catalog...on page 83 (2011 paper version), listed and illustrated, column right: C1TZ-16789-A .. Hood Hinge Spring / $40.00 each (R/L is the same).
C2TZ-16796-C .. Right Hood Hinge (includes spring) / $100.00 each.
C2TZ-16797-C .. Left Hood Hinge (includes spring) / $100.00 each.
I have DC's repro truck parts catalogs that cover 1948-1996 (and...I don't own any of these piles of misery any longer). So...how come y'all that do...don't?
