I have been researching these trucks. I thought 1993 was a non turbo IDI? 1994 was the turbo version and mid 1994 was the DI Powerstroke.

Is this an aftermarket turbo?

Corrrect it is an ATSturbo system. Same one that Ford used for the turbo diesel versions.

Morts is starting off with a positive reputation.
They did make a Turbo in 93 and it was supplied by ATS although I dont think this is a factory set up as it has a different cover, the Factory ones usually said Ford Turbo. They detuned the turbo on the 93s because the Powerstroke was coming out in 94 and they didnt want to make it have more power than the new engine coming out. Nice truck just a bit too pricy for me.
