Double check to make sure the shoo is giving you the same stuff rough country is. Sometimes RC gives you a free steering stabilizer the shop may try to charge extra for that. Also get the kit and so the rear yourself. Save some labor money.

The only hard part about installing a lift kit is grinding the rivets out to bolt all the new brackets in. Otherwise, it is pretty much just a matter of taking it apart, and putting it all back together.

x2 on doing the rear yourself, for sure. My Rough Country kit came with the wrong u-bolts for the rear though. They were the same size as what my truck already had, and when I called they refused to make it right with me. Instead they told me I needed to take my overload springs out, which wasn't going to happen, so I had to have custom u-bolts made (ran about $110).

I had a similar problem with JBG when I lifted my 78. I went to truck shop "Fleet Pride" they made me some new u bolts and even brought them to my shop. Only cost me about $39. Id see if you have one close by.
