High Miles F-150
I am original owner of a 1999 F-150 XLT 4 x 4. It just turned 362,250 miles, and is still running great with original engine and transmission. This truck has run a lot of highway miles, but it has also done many miles on NH dirt roads. It still has runs smoothly and with power. I am wondering what the mileage record is for this model and year of Ford truck.
Thanks,

Thank you for the feedback all.
I will post a picture shortly along with picture of latest odometer reading.
What will really blow you away, and I am ashamed to admit it; is the fact that I typically change the oil only every 12 - 15 K miles. I have not babied this truck in any way, and it has been very good to me.
Thanks again,

Hey don't feel bad about the less than perfect maintenance on your rig. We all make mistakes. my 2000 f 150 4x4 ex cab just rolled over 402300. and my truck is rough, looks rough, and runs rough. Congrats on your own achievment and hope it keeps goin for many more!! Know a guy from around here that has a late 90's superduty diesel with over 700000 miles, but thats not even in the same catagory as a gas motor. best of luck

Thank you Sammo,
Congrats on going over the 400K mile mark on your F-150.
Mine still looks real good, just a little rust on bottom of doors. This is incredible considering how much salt it sees during the NE winters. I hope to join the 400K-Club by the end of 2012. Just got hit with a freak 20" October snow storm but we took to the road with confidence in 4 x 4 mode.

The 5.4 motor in my truck has been using full synthetic oil since about 50000 miles. Usually run 10 W30 most of the year. To my knowledge the transmission may have only been flushed twice in its entire life. At 402000 miles i have a slight shudder into and out of overdrive sometimes and the motor only uses about half a quart of oil every 1000 miles, so far so good. Keepin my fingers crossed.
