Reading this post I realiced that I have the same problems, just as I tried to explain in my own post under "X power chip".

During cold start, the van jumps a little forward with gear in park.
It is hard to get any acceleration or speed increase above 60 km/hr.
Above 60 km/hr it stutters and sounds like a sparkplugg misfire.
Once almost warmed up (needle just pointing at "N" in "Normal" range) it runs fine, and I can accelerate like normal.
When my scanner is connected the "IAT" is showing 40 at all times. Hot or cold engine, running or not. (Stock van airfilter box).

See my signature for other mods to my E-350 van.

So is the common problem here a defective IAT sensor? Will replacing that solve some of these problems.
And I should probably clean FPR screen and check fuel pressure ASAP.

I'm not sure about your IAT, but I would think if its reading 40 at all times, something is definitely not right with it. I did not change anything with my IAT, just the injectors and now my problem seems to have gone away.

Well, my IAT sensor is correct, at least according to resistance test.

Measured the resistance at 3 different temperatures, all OK there.
Must be my scanner that can't interpret the signal.

Measured the fuel pressure and got 50 psi at idle.
Made a small piston of 6.2mm lenght so that the FPR spring got harder.
Now I have 80 psi at idle.
Is that high enough?

Also cleaned the fuel filter bowl with my vacuumpump brake venting kit.
Sucked out diesel from the drain valve first, to clean out any water or debris in the bottom of the bowl. Then removed the filter insert, and sucked out the rest of the diesel in the bowl.
Cleaned the FPR filter with the vacuum sucker as well.
Why haven't I used this vacuum pump before
Really easy to use and absolutely no diesel oil spills anywhere

Tomorrow I will test at highway speeds to see if the rattle/shakes are gone.

80 psi is too much. You want to be at about 65 psi.

Ok. But I also found on another post that 75-85 psi is ideal.
What can go wrong with keeping it at 80?
I can shorten the piston to half, and get around 65.

The new CPS in my truck completely solved my bucking issues. I haven't had a single problem since then.

It runs perfect now. I have since done a TON of mods to the truck, and its running great. Only have oil pan leaks, which I will deal with as I am NOT pulling the motor to reseal the pan.

Everything I have read says to keep it at 65-70

shake and rattle, same thing at higway speeds today.
Same thing when driving off from cold, it won't accelerate properly before temperature is up to normal.

Could everything be just the CPS?

I will reduce the fuel pressure to 65 psi, since I didn't see any difference at all.

Its the cheapest place to start. Only get the FORD one though. They are like $25. If its not it, then you have a spare in the glove box when it does eventually die.

Reduced the fuel pressure to 70 psi today.

Mounted the steering stabilizer kit from Moog, perfekt fit
Now the van steers like never before, no more wandering about.
Also cleaned the ABS gear rings on the front wheels, now I have ABS brakes again also. Used a small steel wire brush (Toothbrush size) and sprayed with brake disc cleaner through the small inspection holes on the inside front of each wheel.

At the moment there is no CPS available on ebay for my van, well there is one but they don't ship to Norway.

Who else sells these CPS sensors? Riffraff?.
The Norwegian stealership want $225.00 for one

Do you have an International dealership close by? I can imagine getting parts at a decent price is tough for you.

No International dealers in Norway. We don't have those trucks here.

To get things cheap I use ebay, riffraff, xtremediesel, rosewood or moog suspension parts.
Or anyone else who delivers to Norway.

Last year I needed an oil filter urgently, as the old one suddenly had a hole in the bottom (maybe a rock or something bounced up there).
$141.00 for one oil filter is what they charged me
After that I ordered a whole box of 12 oil filters, 12 dieselfilters, 24 air filters, and 6 auto tranny filters, all of them original Motorcraft. Got the whole lot home for $462.00 including shipping pluss 25% import tax of course.
Who said wholesale doesn't pay off
