Having alot of issues with my 05 F250,


has 6300hrs and 170,000 miles on it.

I have changed/replaced:

New injector harness

Swamps 58v FICM




Truck passes a buz test, and has no codes for missfire, 50+ PSI fuel pressure, HPOP is meeting demand, I did notice that scanner shows only 46v's for FICM voltage which baffles me as it has a 58v unit on it...

I have no clue where to start, truck acts like it has a dead miss under load and puffs bluish (unburnt fuel smoke) stinks to all high heavens like musty diesel.

Truck fires right up in 40 degree F weather, runs ok for about a minute then starts thumping dead miss like its over fueling on cylinder to the point it wont burn it. Once it comes up to operating temp it cleans up and turns into a constant stumble rather than a miss. Unburnt fuel smoke goes away and it stinks a lil less.


Ideas?

 

Turck uses no coolant, no oil, and has no fuel contamination in either.

 

I'm no expert but if I was in your situation I would get a re-ring kit for all 8 injectors and inspect tips while they were out. If you have more money than time take it to the dealer for a cylinder contribution test.
