The oring is on the hpop fitting, no oring on the hpop line fitting, that's a compression fitting I believe its called.

It is. Took half of my life putting a little money in it here and there to look like that.

Ya, best of 9.24 @ 144. If I'd run it to 8k instead of shifting at 6500 it would get in the 8's but like I said it took me a long time to get it to where it is now and can't afford to run it that hard and break things. Motor's out and apart now for the first time in the last 4 years to be freshened. Only been running part time as everything is so expensive anymore.

Guess we're off topic a ways here, but it's your thread so what the heck!

Just a little, but I'm the one that derailed this train.

It was at straight fitting coming out of the HPOP.

I didnt see where mine was coming from till I had it sitting there idling and was looking around and then i finally saw it shooting out of my hose but it was the underside of the hose so it was hard to find on mine.

Well, Changed out the O-rings, got everything back together and tight. Fired her up and it's still flowing like a river from under the HPOP. Now what?

I found what appears to be a piece of neoprene gasket material mixed in amongst the mouse nest and peanuts in the valley when I had the filter assembly out. Appears to be shaped like an L, about 4 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches with a curved radius instead of a sharp 90 degree angle. Ould it be part of the seal or the HPOP or oil reservoir?

I can't remember if that plug has an oring you just can't replace while in the truck, or if the pump has to be worked on. Send joey@terminatorengineering and email and check with him on options and good prices if you need it worked on.

If you can't visually see where the oil is coming from I can't think of anything else it would be. See if someone else clarifies the plug we're talking about.
