Replacement seats for 2008 Ranger

Tecently I purchased a 2008 extended cab Ranger. I would like to replace the 60/40 seats with bucket seats. What vehicles have seats that would match the bolt holes in my truck or tracks that would be adaptable to my truck?

Cougar, thanks for your offer. First though, I need to find what models and years fit as replacements.

I think Sport Trac seats will work as well.

Are you wanting direct bolt in? Or are you willing to do fab work to make them fit?

I'd prefer a direct bolt-in seat.

I think Ranger 93+ buckets, Ford Expo 96-01, 96-01 Mountaineer and 00-05 Sport Tracs are your only option

I think those years are right

Don't the newer Rangers/Explorers etc have the seat frame which bolts onto the bottom of the seats like the older BII/Exp/Ranger?
IF so, then you have a large assortment of seats to choose from, you just have to come up with the bucket seat frames and bolt your favorite Mustang/Tempo/T-bird buckets to them. That's what I've done with my BIIs.

You may be right. I have seen people do that swap. I just never new what they had to do to make it work.

If that's true then there are a lot of seats available
