Am i reading this right?

Was looking through my owners manual this morning looking for manufacturer towing capacities on my 97 F-250 and it reads for a 7.3L F-250HD Super Cab 4x4 auto lwb, 16000 GCWR for 3.55 gears, and 20000 for 4.10 gears. These rating also apply for the 97 F-350s. If this is so other than GVWR and the fact that a dually 350 will handle the weight better whats the advantage to getting an F-350?

Primarily, the solid front axle; better ride and not as dodgy to align, and tougher. These are all true whether towing or not.
