ok when ever i drive my truck there is a clinking sound from the front driver side (i think) when ever i drive but it doesnt always happen (i can accelerate in place and no sound, when im parked no sound). just sounds like someone shaking a bag of metal... any ideas of what it may be?

 

could be a bad tire...maybe ...but closer inspection is needed. it could be a bad wheel bearing or CV joint , I probably lean towards CV...if that is it, you might as well do wheel bearings as well.

 

2 or 4 wheel dr.? If it's 2w/dr. that is the sound I had when My outer bearing went out. Scott
