They didn't change the frames, you should not have a problem running suspension from an '05.

Check out this recent thread, it is similar to what you want to do.

Ford didn't change the fronts to coil overs on the Excursion in '05. That Excursion with coils is a two-wheel drive Excursion. Two very different front suspension setups.

well you should really take Stewarts advice and see if the kit was for a 2wd, if it was you don't want it.

04 X with 6" BDS 37×12.50×17 cooper STT M/T's

6" BDS 37x12.50x17

Minor trimming on inner fender and no more rubbing.... Except when a Honda some how did not see me next to them in an intersection and drove under me and my tire ended up in there door window.

Hate the ROUGH COUNTRY 3 inch lift. Way too stiff and has dropped significantly.

04 6.0PSD $20k Various worn out suspension parts replaced REDHEAD steering box 3 in ROUGH COUNTRY lift F-250 rear springs Moto metal melee 22x10 -18et w/ 35x12.5 fuel gripper tires Nerf steps. Up next.. 4 inch straight pipe 05 facelift Window tint

I'll try the BDS 6in leafs. Is yours a diesel?

probably because that is what they sell

start s new thread.

include your current setup info with hub to fender measurements. from center of hub straight up to bottom of fender arc.

what you want your final ride height to be
what size tire
any additional goals or improvements or ride quality and handling issues you may have.

this isnt that hard, we have answers

I have a 2005 V10 4x4 with 191k miles that I would like to run 35" tires. I don't really care if it rides like a truck. I will be adding either a whole winch bumper or winch mount with a Warn 12k winch in the near future.
23" up front and 24" in the rear
Thanks in advance.

HI gotgig.

Question, what is the correct off-set to use? I just got a 2002 Limited, V10, 4x4, 150K with a ProComp 4" lift. The guy that had it also put on 35x12.5x20's. I hate to 20" as they ride harsh. He didn't get the right rims as they hit the springs on tight turns. So I'm planning on going to 17' or 18's with 35c12.5's. So I'm trying to find the correct off-set.

Thanks for whatever help you can give me.
