X-plan for Ford Pickups

After reading all the reviews about the 6.2 I think I'm sold but I have one more question. How does a person go about aquiring access to the X-plan?

Thanks

Caleb

One more question. Are these plans affected by trade-ins?

You could request an x plan pin over at blue oval forums, doesn't cost anything...

You can use x plan in conjunction with a trade in (I did). You also get all the incentives/rebates as well.

I have xplan throught my employer but the last wo fords i bought (08 and 10) both here cheaper old school negotiating. Keep in mind that one of the xplan requirements is it is non-negotiable pricing so if you elect to use it let them know when you walk in and know you will not be able to negotiate at all. Just keep an eye out that they dont add anything in ford pays them a processing fee they are not supposed to add to the xplan price other than government mandated tax title etc

Now I'm not trying to be a smart *** nor do I question anyone's integrity but how can just getting a number from a Ford forum or by joining some organization can you get a better price on a new Ford vehicle?

And partner companies. X-plan is not a big deal to ford they still make good money on it.

Thumbs up

You can also get an X-plan PIN...if you are a current FORD stock shareholder. You must have 100 shares or more...and own them for a minimum of 6 months prior to requesting a PIN.

Very cool deal...and the X-plan PIN once issued is good for 1 year.

You could do better with old school hagglling as someone mentioned, but only on a truck that isn't in demand. If they have several of the same/similiar trucks around then you might beat the xplan.

Thing about the xplan is that you get the rebates too. So for instance if you are looking at a truck with msrp 50k, the xplan price coule be 47, and then you would take off the current rebates of 2k. So price would be 45k.

Also, in my opinion, if you are thinking about ordering one, xplan and rebates is definitely the way to go.
