MSRP/Invoice..cost of 6.2..is this a good price?

Guys, help me out here.

Best price in NM for a 2012 250 6.2 4x4 short bed crew cab is 37,999. The sticker prices in 41,280 and with rebates and incentives the cost is 37,999.00

The invoice is 37,287.00 from the internet. What price should I pay for this pickup.

Should I try to get a pin or membership somewhere for an xplan? Does anyone know of any 2011 pickups still available in the western US?

Thanks

Get on Costco's web site. It will give you the retail and invoice price based options, models etc. Here in Montana they are offering 0% financing and $2k rebate on 2011 models.

Sounds like a nice truck for a great price. I'm in the market for a F250 XLT short bed 4x4 crew cab with power windows, 3.73 gears, limited slip rear end, power windows. I'm fine with just the basics. I can add stuff later on.

Whats the difference between the xl and xlt? I thought it was just the carpet? I also checked out the Costco website and I will definately utilize that option, or I might subscribe to a club to get the Xplan. Whats the dplan?

I think the xlt has a chrome grill plus carpet and cloth seats. I tried to spec an xlt as close to my xl as possible and I think it was like 3500 more. The d plan is for immediate family members of a Ford employee(my father)

Should start as near to invoice. Then minus rebates. The dealer is going to get 3% of invoice as hold back (profit/overhead).

But... the bottom line is how much your willing to pay. Sales person is hoping your having a lust/need...got to have now moment to pay more. Remember don't get emotional it's just business. Good luck.

Here is an old thread but helps explain some stuff. Jeff (1956MarkII) was a FORD sales person in Victor, NY and helped a lot of FTE members out with info.
