Tracking the progress of Ecoboost F150's

I currently do not have an Ecoboost but very likely will with my next F150. I figured a thread to keep up with the progress of the current and future purchases of EB F150's would be an easy way of keeping track of accumulated miles and repairs of various kinds.

So if you have an EB how about periodically post here and let us know what your mileage is and some of the experiences you've had with your Ecoboost. This information will benefit all that are interested in the overall performance and durability of the Ecoboost trucks.

I will keep this thread bumped to keep it current.

Who has the highest miles so far on your EB F150 regardless of model?

I have about 8000 miles on her now. Nothing to report but smiles! I'm getting the advertised mileage. It runs like a raped ape. I have been towing an 8000 lb trailer for probably 6000 of those miles. No negatives to report at this time.

EcoBoost (3.5L, 2.0L) - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

This would be a great place to post as well.

I have 4500 awesome miles on mine, I'm getting and even exceeding the advertised MPG's and I've had one oil change at 2500 miles. I plan to change every 5K using MC semi syn 5w-30, which is what came in it.

After having the ecoboost engine, I can't imagine having a truck without it.

I have had mine for 3 months and have 4100 miles on it. I have had no problems or compaints for choosing the EcoBoost. It has performed without a flaw. I get 18-22 mpg depending on how I drive and where. In town 18-19...out on the highway cruising a 60-65 I get 21-22+. I have not towed very far yet to get you any mileage while towing.

16,000 miles, have had it ford about 6 months. Only issue is minor shudder every once in a while when coming to a complete stop. 3.55 gears was avg 18.5 mpg in a 2x4 on mosty highway 70 mph.
Pro comp A/Ts have taken my mpg down a bit more. Still trying to get a good feel for where it's going to settle.

2011 F150 SCrew EB with almost 700 miles. Love it...I'm averaging 18-19 at first and now since my 2nd gas fill up I'm averaging 22. I second the facts that this truck goes like a "raped ape" and "can't imagine having the truck without this motor"!

I take care of 2 EB trucks; no trouble with either of them, 19k miles on one and 9900 on the other. Both 4X4s and get between 16 - 19 mpg. I third the raped ape analogy!

I think it would be helpful to also see people either in their signature stating what gearing they have or letting us know their gearing as it definitely will effect your milage.

i have almost 18,000 on my eb screw 4x4. So far, its been fantastic. Stupid powerful, stupid quick. My buddy with a modded 7.3 sduty, stays falling back in my rearview mirror. He is upset over that.

mileage is anywhere from 16.5-22, depending on how spirited I drive it.

Pulls a trailer like a dream, will probly out-tow gas sduty trucks.

17k uneventfull miles so far. no return trips to the dealer. fuel mileage between 16-22 just like previoulsy said. runs like a raped ape and has gobs of torque, this coming from a person who still has a stump puling V10 with 4.56 gears, 5 star tuner, & modified exhaust!

Business partner also has one with the exact same feedback expect he's only at 10k miles. We like em enough we've ordered a 3rd for one of the other guys!

26000 kms on my '11. Works like a mule every day, won't back down from a challenge. My only issue to date with the whole truck is the sync system took a dive last week some time, needs a complete update so they say. Far as the ecoboost goes, reminds me so much of my '96 300/6, but way more power. The little engine that could.
