Their 1970/72 below the tail light reflector info is also wrong, because they left out the fact there are two types: With or without a bezel.
Their tailight bezel info is pure BS!
They are unaware that Ford replaced the 18 gallon in-cab fuel tank used 1961/69 (C1TZ-9002-K) with the 1970/72 19 1/2 gallon in-cab fuel tank (DOTZ-9002-A) for use as a service part replacement.
It bolts right in w/o any mods...and has been reproduced.
There's prolly more BS, but I have other things to do.
The 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks.
If you had it, you would have known the different details the day you acquired your truck...instead on relying on incorrect, misleading and BS info!

If 1967/68's did not come with reflectors, how come the part number is 1967 related?
And, why does the '64/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog list C7TZ-13380-A/C7TZ-13380-B for 1967/68/69 F100/250 Stylesides?
The bottom line is...that if these reflectors were not available until 1969, they would not have C7TZ part number prefixes...it's as simple as that.
Y'all have no Ford Parts Catalogs, no Ford parts experience and are not familar with laws that governed lamps and reflectors that varied from state to state...and Canada.

Numberdummy, first I want to just tell you that I respect you and you have helped me several times in the past and in no way am I trying to disrespect you or anyone else for that matter as I am not here to argue with anyone. So, with that being said...........
I can assure you that the reflector you are talking about, C7TZ-13380-C, was not introduced on a ford truck until 1969. I can also tell you that you will not find a 67 or 68 ford truck that has this reflector under the brake light bezel that originally came on that truck. I might not know the part numbers like you, nor do I have the resources of part number books and such, but for the most part, I do know what came on these trucks originally and what did not. The truck I have right now I bought from the original owner, and if this model came with that reflector, it would be on my truck. As a matter of fact, I would think that a simple call to Dennis Carpenter would also verify that only the 1969 truck came with that reflector. If you look in his catalog, that part is listed only for the 1969 model year, even though it has the C7 part number.
I collect other Ford cars as well, mainly mustangs, and I can tell you that Ford would interchange parts on the assembly of their cars without hesitation if they ran out of certain parts during the assembly. If it would interchange, they would do it. Ive seen mustangs that originally came with falcon parts assembled on them as well. I have seen 1970 mustangs that have a C9 number, but that part only came out for a 70 mustang. Could be the same difference here, I dont know.

lol, I know. Its listed only for the 1969 in his catalog, even with the C7 part number. I would not say anything about it if I didnt know it was true. I understand what numberdummy is saying about the part number, but there is no telling with Ford why its like that. I only know what year it came on these model trucks, and thats 1969.

1) C7TZ-13380-C is a red body side reflector.
Applications: 1968/72 F/N series trucks with factory installed Flat and Stake Beds, 1967 F100/250 Styleside pickups, 1967/68 F100/250 Flareside pickups, 1968/72 F100/750 Cab & Chassis' on the back of the cab, 1969 Econolines.
2) The correct part numbers for 1967/69 below the taillamp reflectors are C7TZ-13380-A Right & C7TZ-13380-B Left.
3) You cannot prove that 1967/68's didn't come with these reflectors because you are unaware of Canadian & US laws that governed lights used on trucks.
Canada has been **** for decades inre to lights not only used on trucks, but on Passenger Cars as well. Some US states may have required them, why they are listed for 1967/69 F100/250 Stylesides.
Invest 22 bucks in the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog on a CD, available from hipoparts.com. Then you can look up all these parts, then see if they fit the scenario...or not.

I will say this again, no 1967-1968 ford truck came with a reflector below the rear tail light bezel, (neither C7TZ-13380-A Right & C7TZ-13380-B Left.) The part I listed above was from DC's book which clearly states for a 1969. The bezel on the 70-72 trucks are different.
I will also say this, you can look around on ebay, classifieds, Hemmings, and any other place you can look at these trucks and you will not find a 67-68 with that reflector below the rear tail light bezels. If you happen to find an "original" truck that has one, I will also show you an "original" truck that has one because somewhere down the line of owners it was added on by an owner and not original to the truck.......So with that being said, the only thing I can say is you would have to show me a 67-68 truck that has them. I garrantee I can show you more that dont have them.
Doesnt matter if the truck was built in the US or Canada, Ford or Mercury, they didnt come with them. Look here at some original pics of mercury trucks. If you go and ask those guys on that forum they will tell you the same thing:
1967 - 1968 Mercury Trucks* Cana
Also, the information about the reflectors on the "other" website is most definately correct. I havent looked at all the information on that site in that section, but the information they have about the reflectors is correct.
Was this reflector used on other Ford cars OR vans in 67-68?? I have no idea.

Please come up with an explanation why Ford used the C7TZ part number prefix for these under taillamp reflectors. Was it a parts catalog error? Since there is no C9TZ number listed for them, I doubt that.
And notice that the C7TZ-13380-C body side reflector is listed for 1967 F100/250 Stylesides. I've never seen any 1967 with body side mounted reflectors.
And, you don't have to show me any examples because I bought a 1968 F250 Ranger and 1971 F100 Ranger XLT brand new, so I know what both look like.
But the only pic I have of my 1968 is a 3/4 front view with a skinny 185 lb. 28 year old standing alongside the drivers door.
A far cry from the 325 lb. 67 year old in some pics I have of my 2011 F150 Stupor Crew.

LOL, I cant give you an explanation as to why the C7TZ prefix, all I can tell you is they didnt go on a truck until 69. 67 didnt have any, as you said youve never seen any. Like I said, maybe that reflector was on a car or van starting in 67??? I have no idea, but I will bet that the 68 you bought (brand new?) did not have the reflector under the tailight bezels. Im not arguing. Like I said, I respect you, I am just stating a fact on something that I know is correct.
I started my love for these trucks when I was 16 along with mustangs. Now Im 40 and Ive owned and restored 8 of these model trucks over the years and I have seen alot. Like I said, my 68 is all original except for the interior which I just redone. No reflector. Here is a friend of mines 14,000 original mile truck (that I would love to have by the way) no reflectors:
Here is a pic of a 69 that has the WRONG reflector on the back, simply because he could not find the original reflectors to go on his truck when he restored it.......same problem as original poster of this thread.
Someone who doesnt know the difference would never know they were not correct, as the poster said in the 2nd comment of this thread.......they will work, but not correct as shown on the red 1969 truck.......Thats also one way I can tell what model the truck is from the back simply by looking at the reflector orientation. When my buddies used to go with me looking at them at car shows and such they would ask me how I knew what model it was from the back when they all look the same......well, now you know. LOL!

According to this website: Ford Truck Part Numbers (Reflector Assembly) - FORDification.com
Reflector part C7TZ-13380-C (type 4 - rectangular) is used for:
Rear & rear side (67-69)
Rear side (67)
Rear of platform (68-72)
"In states legally requiring Type A reflectors"
No other vehicle listed as using this part other than F100 thru F600 truck, so does not appear to be a part originally made to use on a van or car or anything else.
