I have a 2006 F150 4x4 and in the last week the readout display for mileage and tempature on the dash quit showing. What's the problem and how do I fix it? any help is greatly apperciated.

Your issue with the backlit LCD is a common problem. A quick search of the forum will reveal many threads about it.
Short and not so sweet, the entire cluster is going to be changed out by the dealer? WHY? b/c it's integrated into the cluster...does not have its own bulb...and the dealer is going to need to legally enter your mileage and document the same into the new cluster.

 

Have you checked your fuses?
