super duty 5.4 sts turbo
I am considering doing a STS universal turbo kit to my 99 f350 5.4l. I have looked all over the internet and have not found anybody that has done one. I have seen superchargers and prochargers, but I want to be different and consider this turbo kit. I know I could do a diesel swap but I am trying to be different here and keep the drive-ability of my truck. I want to keep boost to about 5-6 psi and need to know if larger injectors will be needed. My friend is familiar with turbos on tuners, but not as large as this truck so I also need to know what size turbo I should be looking at. I do not think that the boost will hurt my engine since guys put superchargers on them quite often. Let me know what ya'll think.

perhaps you shoulddrop mike at 5 startunning an email he's walked this path he'l be more then able to give you do's and don'ts
- my advice to you is keep it simple and upgradeable as possible should you thrive for more POWER!!!
-for 6 psi you'll need a new maf (gen2 lightning will do and are pretty cheap)i got a gen1 and pegs at 4psi on a blow threw setup.
-iinjectors will be a must, you can get an fmu from vortech which would make your stock injectors work, but beworned no tunner liks a fuel management unit, on that note.
My advice 39lb+ with an inline fuel pump, and for when you want more hp you'll just need to get an fpr boost refrenced of course.
