I've wandered; OT but still ford

I have always wanted a 28 29 Model A Roadster or Coupe (mostly a Roadster) and a few years ago I actually picked up a 29 Sports coupe that had been all hacked up, suicide front end, cowl cut ( I think the engine must have been almost next to the driver?) subrails all cut/hacked up and the rear quarters had a large notch for Im guessing the rear end to sit up inside body? (basically just a pile of parts and idea of a body being modifed in to a roadster style.)

Anyway I stored it on a shelf in the garage for a while then decided it was probably more of a project than I was up for so I sold it.

Then this weekend I find this,

and I wonder why my F6 is not getting done very fast....

My neighbor just down the street had this and had decided to let it go. So I wheel and deal, and I traded this running flathead (stand included) I really didn't want to get rid of the run stand but he wanted it.... and I really wanted the car
so here it is. doors were included, a bunch of patch panels for the rear quarters and fender wells. and other parts. otherwise a bunch of new panels already put in. drivetrain looks really clean and I think the banger will run as is. just need to get my F6 rolling first.
Ya going to need to downsize some other trucks now. lol

here was the engine and stand

Holy Crap Josh! I don't know where you find time to do anything
I have ONE truck! Of course this weekend I had to replace a kitchen faucet and sink baskets, but....oh and bought a new barbecue grill, had to assemble that, but....oh and nicolle asked me to help cleanout the basement, but...oh and the pool had to be taken down, cleaned stored. Now I can get 2 of the 3 snowmobiles out and get them ready to sell....well...okay so maybe the truck isn't the only thing!

Well we only live once!

Great looking project. Hope you enjoy working on the A. When I restored my Model A 20 years ago I had no money, was working full time and had three young kids. It took me about 2 years to get the car on the road. Now I'm working only 3-4 days a week, I've got some money in the bank and the kids are all out of the house. I can't figure out why it's been 3 years since I got the truck and I'm just now starting to put things back on the frame. I'd love to know where the time goes.

Thanks Guys. I still can't quite believe its really in my driveway.

Ditto on the faucets never lasting. I've got 2 that will need replacing soon as well. plus my honey do list is getting longer, I had better get that knocked down before it explodes
I have 2 young kids as well so I'm pretty busy with all the activity there as well.
I still have to finish some wood trim in the basement after our neighbors flooded us a couple years ago. we fought them and the insurance company and finally got about 80% of the costs covered but I did all the work myself so as usual I get the project about 97% complete and then move on to the next project. lol

hopefully I can enjoy this new toy before too much time passage!

Hey Josh, you could build the F6 to haul the car! I like the COE's hauler's pretty cool stuff!
Give your trailer a break. I could spot your trailer from a mile away! You certainly get your moneys worth out of that thing! LOL

Nice score! And if you start running low on storage space, you can EASILY stack that little roadster on the back of one of your big trucks...
