Be prepared for a HEAVY/ANnoying whistle from the TB spacer. They are NOTORIOUS for a terrible whistling sound thats drives people insane. I am personally not a fan of the FIPK due to the consumption of hot engine compartment air.
As far as the 75mm TB goes that should give you a boost. I am going to install one in the near future.
Good Luck.

1999XLT,
Have you looked at the Volant system?
Volant Site
Volant Pricing
I am almost ready to order, doesn't pull engine air; looks like a good option. Any experience with these?

NOpe never seen them before. I have a mustang (90 notch back) and i haven't had any problems. i just a tube and the filter. I would think any time you put it in a container you are restricting its air flow potential. Plus as long as it comes out by the hole from the old set up i wouldn't think is would suck hot air anyways. I could be wrong though about this

TC,
Volant is the only manufacturer that I am aware of that make a complete replacement for the stock system that utilize true colder outside air. A little pricey though.
I chose to go with th WMS velocity tube and a K&N Filter. for a total of about $140.00.Click Here for more info on the Velocity Tube. They utilize the stock air box and replace everything else. You remove the stock air inlet and replace it with a piece of 3" Hose. Connect the tube to the air box and TB and you are good to go. Took about 15 minutes to install.
