I'm going to change my upper and lower ball joints, How hard?

I have alot of play in my steering and noticed my ball joint in the drag link is shot. I was going to replace just that, but I said what the hell replace it all. I am going to replace inner/outter tie rods/ drag link, Upper and lower ball joints, bearings, radius arm bushings and sway bar bushings. Anything else? I know I need the ball joint press, fork and snap ring tool. Anything else I would need?

I was going to get MOOG parts. What do you gus recommend?

Thanks........................

If you are going through all that trouble, I would also changed the axle pivot bushings. I did my entire front end about a year ago, just as you are. I used Energy Suspension bushings, and they are very nice.

As for tools, I would suggest a rubber mallet of some sort. I have a 3lb. dead blow mallet, and it helped a lot. Also, to remove the hub spindles, a set of 3-jaw pullers is quite handy. I didn't use the pickle fork at all.

MOOG makes excellent parts. I used whatever Checker auto stocks (I think McQuay Norris??), and they have been just fine.

Best advice, lots of patience is required. It took me all weekend.

Make sure to mark your current adjustments, so when u put it back together it will be close. then get the front end aligned to make sure is right.

Ok, I picked up some axle pivot bushings from Autozone. I'm sure they will be fine for what I need. anything to look for? Is it just take out the bolt, drop it down, get out the old bushing ( I head it's a Bi*** ) and put in the new...Advice?

Oh, Do I need any SPECIAL tools to get the hubs off and the akles out? I was told the spindel is a pain to get off due to rust and I would need something similar to a dent puller to get it off....

Thanks
