I have a 1992 f250 460 4x4, it seems to be runnin rough, the guy i bought it from wasnt to smart, he said the engine was blown, but all compression tests show ok, but i know a compression test doesnt show a whole lot, and it isnt knockin at all, just runnin a little rough, he says it burned oil too, but it doesnt smoke, or even smell like it. I am just wondering if it could be bad sparkplug wires, or even plugs, i would like some suggestions thanks

 

start wuth a FULL tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, o2 sensors, breather filter, pcv valve. then look for vacuum leaks. after the tune up clear the computer and drive it around for 20 mins or so. then pull the codes.
