What u guys think of my 79?????
#7
Sweet SB! That's really clean for a 79!
Heres' the formula for a nice stance:
DJM drop beams (3-inches).
Rear spring hangar flip (4 inches)
Remove the overload spring (.5-inch)
15x8s all the way around
215/70-15s in front, 275/60-15s in back (but ya already got nice wheels and tires) Food for thought!
Ditch the 92-96 mirrors.. they're too bulbous!!
Continue the upper orange stripe to the hood's side. Looks unfinished because it stops abruptly.
Find/buy a replacement hood ornament.
I think I see a contoured rear bumper.. that's really rare and a keeper in my book. If you want a bolt-on 2-inch receiver hitch, scout out 80-96 Broncos cuz they have the same frame width and some opted for a bolt-on instead of the step bumper with the dorky towball. I got one for $23 at the JY!
I like its patina.. it has character. Thanks for keeping her on the road!
