Not just another MAF conversion question.

Not just another MAF conversion question.
So I know that you are able to run the mustang ECU on these swaps, but I'm wanting to run my E4OD so I was wondering the tunability of the 95-96 F-150/Bronco ECU that ran the 351/E40D. Or would I just be better off with a trans controler/mustang ecu?

I don't know about the 351 ECM, I am planning on using a 302 E4OD ECM, catch code WAY1. According to the TwEECer group and EEC tuner group on yahoo this is one of the good choices. You are running into the same issue I found, the E4OD is the nightmare as far as finding a usable MAF ECM for updating. This is an SEFI MAF ECM.

We converted my friend's 96 F-250HD 460 to MAF for a remote turbo project. You can change about every single parameter, including things like transmission shift points, firmness, etc..It's awesome.
He used a HOG1 ECU (which uses the same control strategy as a WAY1, which is AHACB), Moates QuarterHorse Tuner and Binary Editor software. It came out of a 95 F-150 5.0 E4OD California Emissions truck.
Some F-150s, even California Emissions had the AOD-E/4R70W. No one seems to know exactly why. AOD-E/4R70W computers cannot control E4ODs.
