I'm in the process of buying a '79 F150 and looking for a little info on it.

I'm thinking the motor has been changed since it has a 351M but I thought that engine code was H not K. Its a very straight rust free pickup. Most of the old VIN decoder links are bad and I've been away from the 73-9 for a few years. Its surprising how much you forget!

Looks like poop is Medium Vaquero Metallic. There is no K engine code so it must be an H. Otherwise its a standard Ranger XLT.
