what you guys think of these 7watt lights for backups? think they would fit in the tail light backup socket? 7 watts is hecka bright with a led.

I only did the running boards and license plate to see how I liked them. There's not much to see that you haven't already, but here goes.
Get your LED's and Gearwrench.
Each running board light is above a little protective plate. 8mm and 10mm hardware to remove.
Pull the lampholder and re-install the new lamp. Open the door to make sure it works. LED's are polarity sensitive. If it doesn't light, pull it and rotate it in the lampholder.
License plate is basically the same. Pull the plate and you can grab the lampholders from the back.
Wait for it to get dark.
I ordered from the link High Intentions posted. They aren't SMD's, but they shipped from CA. I had some e-bay bucks, so they were free.
