Question - EVAP valve operation

AFAIK, there are 2 valves, one that feeds vapor to engine and the other that seals canister from atmosphere. Let me call the first Canister Purge Valve (PV) and the latter Canister Vent Valve (VV).

1) Is Canister PV normally open? Seems to be normally closed.
2) Is Canister VV normally open? Seems to be normally open.
3) Do they run on 5V or 12V?

Thanks.

EDIT: Canister Purge Valve (or purge solenoid), normally closed. Canister Vent Valve, normally open. Both run on +12V. PCM controls ground, as usual.
