Well if recently means in the past three months...
I have, in this order....
1. Finally rounded up enough common sense and money to get a BTS transmission installed
2. installed an Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge,
3. replaced my fuel pump
4. Roland, Robby and I did my in-tank mods
5. & installed Clays FRx
6. & rebuilt my FPR
I then....
7. Installed a 6.0 trans cooler
8. Installed a BTS tuner
9. change my PCM to a 2000 NVK5
10. rebuilt my fuel bowl, Robby's fuel bowl, and the bosses 01 F350.

No wonder I'm broke....

2008 tail lights are on the kitchen table waiting for new reverse light sockets. Thanks Rick (Supercab)

It was by far the best investment I have made for my truck. I'm always pulling something so It just made sense.
I'm quoting Jason when I say this but, It's the ultimate peace of mind, other than that, I does what it's supposed to do.

My truck doesn't hardly sit still long enough for me to do too much. Always something on the 'list' though. Time to check the SCA again (its been 15k miles since I checked the last time...). Just rolled past 280k miles so I need to rotate the tires this weekend. Might as well slap in a new set of pads and rebuild the calipers while I am in there (dust seals are shot...). Time to lube the front hubs....install the PHP chip....send another trans fluid sample to the lab so they can tell me if it needs to be changed yet...still haven't gotten around to installing the new valve cover gasket I have for the left bank....still have the pedestal rebuild kit to do....almost time to change diff and transfer case fluid again.....truck really needs a wash as well.

Speaking of wash....I sorta cleaned up the headlights. They were really dull and foggy looking. I used the 3M kit that I got from Harbor Freight for $25. Still can't get over the fact that Harbor Freight carried a 3M product....
Anyway, it worked out pretty darn good. I can see again at night!
(truck still needs to be washed though...)

Greg,

Are those photos of your truck, or photos from an ad? The truck pictured looks like it has C-Betr's, so it could be yours.

How long did it take to do?

When we were back east last month, our dog-sitter/house-sitter, whose first-line of work is an automotive detailer, did my 2000's headlights.

It seems to have made a pretty-good difference in night-time illumination for me.

I still would like to find a set of OEM 2002-4 buckets, though....

That's what I was thinking. I rolled 380,000 today so I came home and changed the oil (again).

Nice Pony Chris. Where's the bottom half? Are you going to bolt lots of chrome on the 289?

The bottom half will be coming soon in lots of boxes over the next few months. This car needed to be torn down to a carcass. It has been in inside storage for the last 23 years and I'm completely going through it piece by piece. Lots of worn out parts were scrapped in the process of deconstruction - plus a shed full of keepers. And yes, lots of purdy stuff once I get into the drivetrain install.

Spool do you live or drive around Issaquah or North Bend? I swear I've seen that truck of yours cruising around I-90 near my place in Issaquah, either way it looks great. It's pretty much a green version of my E99.

The only things I've done recently mod-wise is the MBRP exhaust, Bilsteins all around, and bigger tires.I also put on a blank pedestal and outlet, but that's just to solve a leak and do away with that valve once and for all. Been busy as hell with school and what not so I don't have time to enjoy myself anymore haha.

Yeah, that's my truck. It's been around the block a few times but still looks ok. I've thought about getting new headlights but I kinda like the classic look also. I figured I would try the 3M restoration kit and see how it works. I pretty much assumed it wouldn't make much of a difference and resigned myself to a new set of lights but I was pleasantly surprised. It took about 45 minutes or so. I used a regular 3/8" corded drill. The extra meat from a A/C motor seems to make a big difference.

I need a custom license plate though. I guess I'll just have to make my own because I can't find what I want. I want a plate that says "Made in USA"

Sweet. The fastbacks are my all time favorite. Nice choice.
