well gang,
Managed to get a little progress done over the last couple weekends.
Got the fuel tank installed.
Started running the fuel lines
Then started opening up boxes for the steering column install
I fabbed up a new floor plate
I then laid out the floor mount on a piece of plastic cardboard so I could determine the column mounting location.
The column mounted in a stock location interfered with the engine.
so I made another template with the hole at the bottom of the plate.

Well, we made a little more progress this past weekend....
For starters I have two reasons why I didn't like the "corvette" style booster that came with my brake pedal kit.
1) Giving the size of my truck, I felt the small brake booster wouldn't afford me the proper braking vacuum I may need.
2) The simple fact that it said "corvette" style booster in the parts list
So I decided that booster from the crown vic would be better suited seeing that the car was designed for hard stopping and city driving.
I ended up drilling out new holes in both the booster bracket and the firewall to accommodate the wider bolting flange from the vic.
Then I mounted it up to the firewall using the spacer that came off the crown vic fire wall.
After getting the booster mounted I bolted up the master cylinder.
Hmmm... pointing down hill... I don't like that look.
going to have to find another plastic master cylinder with a more horizontal mounting position.
Next I drilled out the holes for the columns floor mounting plate
I didn't take any pictures of the plate installed.... strange... oh well...
Then I moved on to installing the Bogeson steering parts.
First I cut up a 3/4" wood dowel to use as a mock up double D shaft.
and started test fitting until I was ready to install the carrier.
