truck dies and relays click rapidly

Whenever my truck dies my glowplug light and check engine lights come on and sometimes it will lose power and then come back real quick and sometimes it will take a few seconds to come back. A few times whenever it dies i can hear the relays for the idm and ecm clicking wildly like hundreds of times per second and i have took the relays out and swapped with another truck same thing so i jumpered the wires and the truck still dies...?? Could this be some sort of ground issue? Because when i hit bumps it makes the problem worse. Is there ford gremlins living in mhy truck?? Do u think raid bombs will run them off

Chattering relays is usually a voltage problem. Yes, check your ground cables and the positive cables too. Remember to check both ends of the cables. Take them loose, clean them up, and re-install. Take a close look at them and be sure the cables themselves aren't corroded.

just had this problem. it your cam position sensor. the relay that is clicking is the one right below the horn relay correct. if you hook your truck up to the computer it will more than likely come up with the code camshaft postion sensor intermitent. replace it and it will be fine. my truck was doing the same exact thing to the T

if it is the cam sensor, there was a recall on them, which I believe your truck would be in on that recall, if I remember correctly, should check recalls or just call the dealership with your vin, the recall is 07s57

The only issue with that is that the recall sensor is junk. =( And the one they recalled is better.
