tach ring
if you need 4 pulses you don't need a tach ring just cut in the two other 2 notches
here is a quote I have been saving for my build
Ohh yea I also ground two notches in the balancer for a total of four.
I just got mine figured out today.. U can use the crank or cam sensor from the v10. i used the cam sensor off of the ford v10 and made a bracket to hold the sensor. i tied one sensor wire into the dark green wire that was one of the wires that originaly attached to the cam sensor. the other sensor wire goes to ground. pulled the inner fender well on the drivers side and located the pcm plug and unbolted it. located the #85 wire that is dark green and located the #48 wire that is white with a pink stripe and cut them both and tied them together on the harness side not the pcm side. plugged and bolted the pcm plug. cranked the truck and walla a working tach. this was on a 99 f250 with a v10
