I need to replace a door on my '03 Limited. Anyone know if the the XLT door is the same as the limited door? XLT doors are easy to find, but have the plastic lower trim. Not sure if the door shells are identical. Thanks.

 

Dollars to donuts the skin is the same. There may be extra holes bored in one for attachment of cladding, or they may have used adhesives only. I'd look at the leading and trailing edges of the door for fasteners at the ends of the plastic cladding. If there are not, the plastic is held in place by adhesive or snap-on connectors.

In the diagrams at FordParts.com the door stuff seems to be pretty much the same. Something you could try is to get some prices & part numbers from Ford. The site mentioned doesn't show the part numbers, just diagram reference numbers.
