I can't find my oil sending switch!!!!

I have an 1995 F250 with a 5.8L, The dash has a L-H oil pressure switch, I picked it up yesterday and noticed I had no pressure on the oil, I figured it was the sending unit, and found that the unit should be located above the filter thanks to an earlier post, but it is not there?? Any ideas where else I should look?

Maybe a picture of it if you have one?
