This morning, I was scheduled to install an ATM in Topeka. I had received a call yesterday by the project manager, to ask if I had the software to load the atm. I told them that I didn't. I immediately called the Job site coordinater, and asked about the software. He said he would put it on top of the ATM before they picked it up out in the warehouse. Cool.. that will work.
Atm arrived today, but no software, I got on the horn, and started calling to find out where the software was. Apparently someone took it off the top of the atm, and set it aside.
After about 15 phone calls, someone finally took my advice and made the arrangements for two other techs to meet up and get me the software..

Things were starting to look up!

I started loading software, things are going step by step, easy software setup. It was going great!

The next software step was to take the disc out, reboot, and wait for it to prompt me to put the disc back in.

This is were things went south.. I was holding the disc, while hitting enter with my other hand, meanwhile.. a small gust of wind, took the CD from my hand, and slammed it to the ground, where it proceeded, to spread the laminates of the CD and made it useless..

Well, one day wasted.. wonder how much time I can waste tomorrow.

 

I ordered two discs.. from two different people, just because I don't know if I can be sure either one of them will follow through.
