The one I have linked in my post will work and it came with a flat-to-round pigtail adapter for my '99 truck.

Here's a link to the tow mirrors that will fit your 2000 Ford Excursion on our website.

Tony, I saw that drop down menu filter, but just FYI, the '08 mirrors I linked to in my above post will work for any Excursion that has the round or flat rectangular plug too.

I bought a set for my '99 F250 (uses the round plug) because an Excursion member bought a set for his '02 Excursion (uses the flat rectangular plug) and he said it came with the flat-to-round adapter plug.

Can you buy the adapter separately?

I've been wanting a set of these for years. I always kick myself in the rear cause i did not buy the oem's when they were less than $4xx pr.
Just need to decide which ones I want. There are like 20 different models which all seem close to the same. I don't get it as there should only be just a few different versions.

It says in the description what the differences are... Cap style (chrome, paint to match, textured), with or without signal, power vs manual. Lots of options.

Thanks but there are various ones that are identical.
I mainly just want to know if the adapters are sold separately.

Ok, here we go for fun. Please explain the differences besides price.

0611 & 0613. The only difference might be that the 0611 has the adapter.

1095 & 1096, I see no differences except price

0969 & 1079, I see no differences except price

Yes the item description may be worded slightly different, but the mirrors are the same. What am I missing

I didn't check the others, but on these two the connectors are different and they are for different year trucks.

Looks like we would need the 1095's for our 03's. I do not think I am much of a fan for the PTM or chrome caps either. My bosses 2013 has chrome caps, it looks ok, but I think I like the all textured look better. PTM would be alright, but not looking to try and have them matched.

Will have to wait for them to come back into stock. I think Tony said by the end of Feb. I also would like textured cap with Amber lenses, but not many options for amber. I need to go see what plug I have.

Just noticed this...sorry it took so long.

I currently do not have just adapters to offer to you. We carry all kinds of tow mirrors with many different options.

We recommend that you match your options to the mirror that you purchase, so that the plug ends match.

Thanks. I can get adapters from tousley, but they are $20ea. It would be best for me to wait till you have the proper mirrors in stock.
