So is it after 60k miles, or 60 kms, that the light came back on? The factory service manual suggests using a DMM (or scope) to backprobe the CMP sensor and confirm that over varying engine speed, the CMP output varies by more than 0.1Vac.
The manual continues to suggest that if the CMP voltage varies by more than 0.1Vac, replace the PCM. If not, replace the CMP. Did you happen to go with an OEM Motorcraft CMP sensor or an aftermarket?
