Thanks. Im in the middle of my shifter conversion. So that sweet looking floor shifter doesn't actually work right now....but its close!

Everyone thinks my truck a base model. Then I pop out the factory keypads entry fob.

lemme know how the floor shifter works out, I want one really bad and yours looks perfect.

Also, love the washers on the dash. Reminds me of my Bronco, gotta take screws or bolts out of the cupholder every time you wanna put a drink down.

Radio pic, as promised. It's just a cheapo Sony bought at Wally World.

I will let you guys know how the floor shifter comes along too. Just been sidetracked lately with all these other "simple" projects.

Sadly I don't have any EB emblems, otherwise it'd be yours. My truck is just an XLT, previous owner swapped in the leather EB seats

Don't bash the Sony headunits. I don't buy Sony anything, but I do like their head units.. probably not my favorite, but I don't think you can do better for the price.

USB is just a higherend model, if you don't need it don't spend the extra $40. I do have the exact same head unit in my mom's van though and it's pretty nice. Forget about wattage, they're all gonna be about the same (exception being the $20 units at Walmart), if you want more, get an amp. It's definitely an upgrade in sound going from stock to a Sony though.

and Edgethis, how much did the shifter cost?

They have straight radios without CD players at Walmart for like $20, 'Dual' brand.. they're really, really terrible, but if you don't care about sound quality or loudness, they're a good way to get basic sound into a vehicle.
