Hi everyone! Been a while since I've visited FTE. Anyway, I am proud to announce, after 12 long years of wanting one, I am the proud new owner of a very clean, all stock(except flowmaster), bright red 2001 Lightning. And I freakin love it. Has 90k miles and runs like a champ. Just would like to know any ups/downs of this truck. Also, looking to do a few light mods like: chip/programmer, pulley swap, boost bypass, etc. Any opinions on these mods? Also, whats the abnsolute best sounding, highest performing exhaust? Keep in mind I am from Kalifornia so everything still has to pass smog. Id also like to keep the reliability pretty close to stock. Thanks in advance.

IMO,Flows sound like crap on them..I have the JDM silver bullets on mine and love it..They are loooooud...
When you decide to give it WOT,make sure you have OD off before you hit it...And if it gets cold,be careful doing it there also or you will be apart of the motor exploder club..
Gather up parts(like pulley,headers and etc0 that you know you will need a tune for.That way you can install them all and then go get tuned
