Replacing the Water Pump

Replacing the water pump in my 1992 F-150 XLT. It's got the 300 six. Anything special I need to know? Gonna tackle it tomorrow afternoon.

Nope. Drain coolant, remove belt, remove 3 bolts or so holding water pump on. You can realistically have it on and off in a half hour.

Doesn't the fan shroud/clutch need to come off in there somewhere? I think that would make it easier.

Yes, the fan shroud/fan-clutch has to come out first, then follow the procedure described.
