hard to disengage cruise contol / brake.
I have a 2004 F250 Super duty 6.0L that I,m having a problem disengaging the cruise while driving the freeways. It seem to start up about 1 month ago. It takes more foot pressure on the brake to disengage now, before it would only take a slight tap.
Any ideas?

You might want to 1) check your brake lights and 2) avoid using the speed control until the problem is resolved.
The BPP switch has two parts, One controls the brake lamp circuit itself, the other is a signal for the various subsystems that need to know when the pedal is pressed. It sounds like the second part of your switch is malfunctioning and you may be relying on the redundant SCDS to disconnect the speed control.
