The trannies do not swap from gasser to diesel. The wiring will require some work as you will need wiring for glow plug system and the injection pump (fuel shutoff soleniod). You also need to have 2 batteries and the cables for them. If you go with the e4od trans it will also require a stand alone computer to run it. Your best bet is to buy a donor truck with the stuff you need.

Ya lol I haven't even bought it yet it's just in mint shape and it's been very hard to find one that isn't for a reasonable price I'm looking for a 1986 f350 or 250 ext cab 4x4 when ever I see one people want like $4500 and it seems a little rediculus of a price but I'm going to keep looking I'm sure something will pop up

I'm in Kamloops B.C. I'd be willing to travel 4h in any direction for a nice one with the right price or any were for the right price. Lol I here that alot " I just took one to the junk yard" I see lots of nice one just always with a 460 if I could get a parts truck cheap it would be no problem. But would like one that's factory diesel any of the years from 85 to 94 I'd just change the front end.I've been watching cragslist, kijiji & buy&sell like a hawk they always seem to be rusted right out or just compleatly out to lunch on price like I don't get how people think an old rusty beatup F350 is worth $5000 lol seems crazy to me. Lol
