Lately I'm getting an intermittent flashing Check Engine light. It only does it when I start driving down the road and the truck is still cold. For example, it'll do like 4 flashes, then 5, then 3, then a break for a few seconds then some more flashes... It does that for about a minute then stops and won't do it again until the truck sits for a while then I drive it again.

I haven't noticed any patterns, like if it were engine codes. I haven't checked to see if any codes are stored in the computer yet either.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

 

Something is happening, go to Auto Zone and ask them to pull the code(s).
