Best wax?

I have a very shiny 55 Ford with single stage Lacquer paint. I use McGuire's carnauba wax which seems to be OK. The car is in the garage 98% of the time, so weather is not an issue. Will the 3M Perfect It Show Car liquid work better than my McGuire's? Is it OK to use it on the single-stage lacquer? Should I remove the old wax first? What about the Zaino Z2? Thanks, Jag

3M is good but IMHO, the best is a product called Menzerna.
Menzerna USA: The World's Finest Polishing Materials
And then add Race Glaze over a newly polished vehicle and watch out!
