brake booster or master cylinder

Years ago i bought the break booster and master cylinder from james duff. the bronco set up for 6 years with a blown motor. Im not sure if the booster is going bad or the cylinder. i have new rubber lines and have bleed the thing to death but I dont seam to have much peedle. What donor vehicle would the power booster and master cylinder come off of? also, any ideas on how to fix it? I have also installed new self adjusters and all new brake cylinders. Maybe new shoes will fix it?

Make sure you have your brake shoes adjusted up properly to start with. Tighten them up till you hear and feel the shoes contacting the drum. You also have to bench bleed the master cylinder first before the wheel cylinders. As far as parts from another vehicle being compatable, NumberDummy would be the man. ( Or a NAPA dealer that still has books as a backup reference to his computer).
